Valle d'Aosta Film Fund - Support for the audiovisual production

Description

The main objective of the Valle d'Aosta Film Fund, which was set up in 2012 by the Film Commission Vallée d’Aoste Foundation, is to promote and add value to the cultural, landscape, tourist, rural and historical heritage and traditions of Valle d’Aosta through the support for the production of films, audiovisual and multimedia works. To this end it provides incentives for making national and international film, television, audiovisual and multimedia productions in the region, contributes to the training of local professionals, and stimulates and support jobs and professionalism in Valle d’Aosta.

The Fund is divided into 3 lines of action:

  • Support for the audiovisual production;
  • Support for the development of audiovisual production's projects;
  • Support for the production of audiovisual works of particular artistic and economic relevance.

Special attention will be paid to projects submitted by local businesses, to debut and second works and to documentaries.

Through the Support for the audiovisual production the Film Commission Vallée d’Aoste promotes the realization of audiovisual works that support employment and local professionals, creating significant impact in the Region, that:

  • have a national and/or international profile and develop themes linked to the territory of the region of Valle d’Aosta and/or promote the cultural heritage and regional landscape;

or

  • support the linguistic diversity present in the Region, through the use of the relevant languages.

  • Production start date must be given
  • Minimum spend in the territory:

    150% of the contribution granted

Possible advance payment of 80% of the contribution granted

Notes

  • Start of filming in the region: after the application has been submitted and within 6 months of the grant award.
  • The project must be completed within 18 months of the start date sent to the Foundation (An extension of 6 months may be requested, giving justification).
