Where it was filmed 'Indian Summer'

On arrival in Rimini, Dominici (Alain Delon) wanders the city’s sea front near the harbour. On his first day of teaching (the school is the Biblioteca Gambalunga in Rimini), he sets the class a task and leaves to go and buy a newspaper in nearby piazza Cavour, a location shown in various shots during the film. He quickly becomes part of a group of friends and spends time playing cards with them. One has a shop in the portico of vicolo della Vecchia Pescheria. The restaurant where Daniele and his student Vanina (Sonia Petrova) lunch is in Riccione on the canal, as is the dolphin aquarium (which no longer exists) where they watch a show. The “Querciaia”, the abandoned house where he takes his friend Spider (Giancarlo Giannini), is Villa Favorita in Ancona. The building on the water providing the exterior of the apartment where Gerardo (Adalberto Maria Merli), Vanina’s boyfriend, lives is in Misano Adriatico near Portoverde (RN). The small house where Dominici and his student spend the night together is in Misano Adriatico. His funeral takes place at Villa Malvezzi Campeggi in Bagnarola, Budrio (BO).
