This psychological thriller, with touches of horror, was initially scheduled for March but Covid-19 restrictions pushed the shoot to September. Tuscany is an essential feature of the story; it is where the Danish and Dutch families strike up a friendship while on holiday. The main setting was the city of Volterra (Pisa) where the production was based for a week in September 2020. Other scenes feature the countryside of Montecatini Val di Cecina.

A Danish and a Dutch family make friends while on holiday in Tuscany. Months later, the Danish couple accepts an invitation from the Dutch family to visit their country house: however, their hosts are now very different to how they pretended to be. The Danish couple are trapped in a house that they should never have entered.
