Pergine Valsugana is a bustling town with a beautiful Renaissance-style historical centre located a stone’s throw from Trento. It is the administrative centre of Upper Valsugana and today, a populous town with a booming business and tourism sector. Overlooked by the ancient towers of its medieval castle, Pergine is also a great point of departure for excursions to surrounding sites and for a range of sporting activities. The historical centre is highly picturesque and full of artistic gems, from patrician houses to ancient churches. Around the town are hills and small fruit plantations.
