The Italy-France 2024 Call has been published: financing for co-development and co-production projects

The Bando per la concessione di contributi selettivi per lo sviluppo e la coproduzione di opere cinematografiche e serie audiovisive franco-italiane – Anno 2024 (Call for grants for the development and coproduction of Italian-French films and TV series) opens with an annual budget of €1 million (divided equally between DGCA and CNC) and two evaluation sessions of €500 k each.

The Call finances:

• Co-development projects for films or TV series, with €300 k;
• Co- production projects for films, with €700 k.

Requests for financing may be submitted in the following time frames:

• Session 1: from 14 March, 16.00h, to 4 April 2024, 23.59h;
• Session 2: from 9 to 26 September 2024, 23.59 h.

The co-production grant may be combined, not only with the grant for production as per Art. 26 of L. 220/2016 and subsequent modifications) but also with the production grant for minority co-productions.
