The smallest region in Italy, Aosta Valley hosts two important Alpine crossings and historic and artistic heritage that bears witness to a distant past. Surrounded by imposing mountains and crossed by pristine valleys, it contains Roman monuments, perfectly conserved medieval castles and ancient Alpine villages. Here nature reigns.
The Fondazione Film Commission Vallee d’Aoste offers support to productions intending to shoot in the area. It benefits from a Film Fund, established in 2012 with the principal aim of promoting and sharing the cultural, environmental, landscape, tourist, rural and historical heritage and traditions of Valle d’Aosta by supporting the production of films, audio-visual and multimedia works.
