Origins is the tenth chapter in the Assassin’s Creed series: although it is almost entirely set in Egypt, there is an incursion onto Italian territory. The player is Bayek of Siwa, Medjay to the Pharaoh, who has lost his son in the fight for power for control of the country. Abandoned by his creed and government, Bayek becomes the founder of the Assassins and a key player in Cleopatra’s rise to power. There are few Italian historical characters along the route, but they all play key roles in the development of events, including Gaius Julius Caesar and his assassin Brutus.
