Italy- Serbia: Co-production agreement effective from 4 August 2024

The film co-production agreement signed in Belgrade on 21 March 2023 between the governments of the Republic of Italy and Serbia will take effect on 4 August 2024.

Under the terms of the agreement, Italian-Serbian co-productions will be accorded the same status as national works and therefore become eligible to access benefits provided by the relative legislations.

The 5 year agreement will be automatically renewed.

The agreement provides excellent legislative incentive for the production of Italian-Serbian films and audiovisual products.
