The municipal aqueduct of Montefalco (PG) was built in 1952 by CREA of Turin, originally in asbestos which was later replaced by steel. The aqueduct starts at the Alza Bove spring, near Rasiglia (Foligno), dropping down to the so-called fungo of Montefalco, a mushroom-shaped water cistern looming over the residential area, then splitting off to serve multiple municipalities, including Foligno, Giano dell’Umbria, Gualdo Cattaneo, Castel Ritaldi.
