Calabria Film Commission was established in 2006 with the aim to encourage and stimulate the development of the film industry in the territory. The Foundation aims to support the Calabrian companies operating in this field and promote them through the dissemination of audiovisual material at a national level. In addition, support to productions is guaranteed through on-site service (location scouting, professional database consulting, casting service, guest reception and assistance services and film crew accommodation). Filmmaking companies who intend to work in the territory of Calabria are given special consideration through agreements and conventions providing financial support based on the relevance of the initiative.
