Call to Action in support of cinema and audiovisual productions - Veneto

Description

The call implements the PR FESR 2021-2027 of the Regione Veneto with the aim of:

Make businesses working in the cinema and audio-visual industry in the Veneto region more competitive;
Promote artistic and technical professionals working in the audio-visual sector in the Veneto region;
Raise awareness of the landscape, artistic and productive heritage of the region.

The budget of €6,000,000 is allocated as follows:

Category A: "Feature length films, series (fiction, documentary, docufiction) and animation”; €5.4 M;
Category B: "Doc, Short films and XR"; €600,000.

Requirements

Must be registered in the Registro Cinematografico delle Imprese (Film Companies Register)
Minimum spend in the territory:
- €200,000 for works belonging to Category A "feature length films, series (fiction, documentary, docufiction) and animation"
- €20,000 for works belonging to Category B "Doc, Short films and XR"

The production activities receiving grants must be carried out and located in the Veneto region.
Production activities outside the Veneto region may take advantage of exemptions for personnel resident in Veneto.

Payment schedule

Grants are disbursed as followed:

Advance: (optional) 40% of the grant; from 10 a.m. on Day 30 to Day 120 from publication on BUR of the grant decree, and in any case by 5:00 pm of the deadline. Following delivery of a guarantee covering 100% of the amount of the advance.
Balance:
- 1^st: from Day 120 (10:00 am) from publication on BUR of the decree granting support to 31 December 2025, 5:00 pm
- 2^nd: from Day 120 (10:00 am) from the publication on BUR of the decree granting support to 31 May 2026, 5:00 pm

subject to delivery of documentation, final activities report, invoices and expenses, work schedule for Veneto, crew list and definitive cast, list of locations and other documentation listed in the instructions.
