The Sarca river forms three suggestive waterfalls in Vallesinella dubbed “di sopra”, “di mezzo” and “di sotto”.
The path leading to the Cascate “di mezzo” refuge (1,398m) at the foot of the most spectacular of the three waterfalls, branches off from the main road about 1km from Vallesinella. The waterfall can be reached from Malga Bassa in Val Brenta, by going up to the Prà del Casòn plain (Malga Fratte) and meeting the “di sotto” waterfall.
The “di sopra” waterfall can be reached from the Vallesinella refuge by taking the forest road eastwards to the Tuckett refuge cablecar, along a succession of ladders and bridges with parapets, through the stunning waters.
