Cassinetta di Lugagnano (MI) is formed from the union of two centres separated by the Naviglio Grande. Located on the road to the nearby town of Corbetta, Cassinetta stands out today because of its small number of houses and villas, while Lugagnano is a village that has grown up over the centuries and extends towards Abbiategrasso.
The two areas are still linked by the 17th century granite bridge built during the Spanish domination of the Duchy of Milan which is still the main crossing point of the Naviglio today.
