The spa, inaugurated in 2005, is one of the most interesting buildings in the centre of Merano; behind the elegant purist façade designed by architect Matteo Thun, Terme Merano combines tradition and modernity, economy and ecology.
The heart of the structure is the glass and metal cube that houses the pools. The spa, which offers a splendid view of the surrounding mountains and the large park, includes numerous pools and saunas, as well as a medical spa, fitness centre, a 50,000 m² park and an outdoor café. The facility is designed for relaxation and well-being and as a centre for medical prevention and therapy.
