The 13th century Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, which was restored many times following earthquakes in 1456 and 1805, is particularly noteworthy amidst the religious centres of the town of Frosolone (IS).
Laid out on a Latin cross, with three naves separated by pilasters and a central vault, with a drop dome on the crossing. The oil paintings from the early 18th century by Giacinto Diana, of the De Mura school, which decorate the two side altars are worthy of note. The Baroque facade and the imposing bell tower dominate the square which was the centre of the ancient late-medieval borgo.
