The Lavazè pass is an Alpine pass at 1,808 m above sea level, in the municipality of Varena (Trento). It connects Cavalese in the Fiemme Valley with the Ega Valley in the province of Bolzano. As the border crosses further downstream, the pass is entirely contained in the province of Trento.
The Lavazé Pass is not only a connecting route: with 80 km of slopes, it is also one of the most famous centres for cross-country skiing in winter. Summer provides the possibility for various activities, from trekking to mountain bike rides.
