Plan de Corones, south of Brunico, is a ski area located at 2,275 m. above sea level with 116km of slopes and 32 modern ski lifts.
At its summit is the "Concordia" peace bell. Just below the mountain station of the Belvedere cable car is a snow park with a line of about 800 m. It can be accessed from Brunico, Perca, Valdaora and San Vigilio.
In summer, Plan de Corones is a paradise for hikers and cyclists. There is also a 7km downhill piste with an altitude drop of 1,300m.
