Passo delle Erbe is a mountain pass in South Tyrol that connects val Badia with val d'Isarco. The pass is located at an altitude of 2,003 m and is surrounded to the south by the Putia group and to the north by the Plose group.
The surrounding area has been part of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, its landscape protected, since 1978. The park covers 10,000 hectares and extends south to val Gardena and Corvara. In 2009, the Dolomites were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: as a result, the imposing mountains are now protected by even more stringent safeguarding measures.
