Lungarni of Pisa is the name given to the streets that run along the River Arno and are famous for the buildings they are home to as they run down to the river’s outlet. Every year on 16 June, the Lungarni of Pisa host the magical Luminara di San Ranieri, the city’s patron saint festival, with 60,000 candles lighting up the Lungarni and Pisa’s most famous monuments.
