The Malles bunker, built as part of the Alpine defence wall during WWII by Mussolini to ward off the German Reich, is located above the village of Malles in Alta Venosta, close to the Val Venosta state road (SS 40).
The defensive structure has concrete walls four to six meters thick and steel-reinforced slits; narrow corridors and underground rooms.
