The bunker in Mals was built as part of the Alpine Wall during the Second World War on behalf of Mussolini to ward off the troops of the German Reich and is located above the community Mals in the Upper Venosta, near the Vinschgau State Road (SS 40).
The defensive structure consists of concrete walls, from four to six meters thick, and slits reinforced with steel. Inside you also have access to a series of narrow corridors and underground rooms.
