The Stanghe Waterfalls are located in Val di Racines, in the Stanghe gorge, the only gorge in Europe carved into marble, also known as Gilfenklamm, which reaches a depth of 15m.
In some parts, the marble is pale and white with green reflections. On its route, the Racines river becomes a mass of thunderous water that has carved a path through the rocky gorge. In the centre of the gorge are breath-taking views of the bottom and a path with bridges and steps that leads through this natural spectacle.
