Description

The Gänsekragen is a mountain with an altitude of 2322 metres, and stands over the 2211m Passo di Pennes (pass).

The best observation point can be reached on foot, and is only 15 minutes from where you can park your car. To the north you can see the Stubai and Zillertal Alps, and to the south the Sarentine Alps. In the foreground the Passo di Pennes road winds its way between the Wipptal (Wipp Valley) and the Val Sarentino.
