The San Sisinio sports centre in Lasa (Bolzano) stands out for the elegance and high functionality of its architecture. The building, positioned on a long solid base at the edge of the playing field, comprises changing rooms, a shooting range, a fitness room, a restaurant and covered stands for the public, beneath the same large overhanging roof. This steel, glass and wood building by the Val Venosta architect Arnold Gapp is an Alpine homage to the architecture of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
