A façade on Corso Roma, in Casacalenda, known as Palazzo Liberty because of its art deco style, is all that is left of an early 1900s building. The internal structure was removed in the second half of 1990s because of damage caused to the building by the landslide movement of Piazza Mercato. In 2014, as part of the cultural festival Kalenarte, the artist Baldo Diodato decorated the façade with his work Poker di Stelle, gifting it to the village. The walled-up windows were covered with aluminium sheets, created from moulds, the panels beaten on the rocks of the Biferno River. The blue surface of the aluminium was covered with stars in a recreation of the nightsky.
