Work on the new building for the research and teaching activities of the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the University of Trento began in 2008 and was completed in February 2012, providing an imposing structure in harmony with its urban context.
The building, which extends over 3 main buildings with 5 floors above ground, comprises 32 classrooms plus 4 computer rooms and a 330-seat lecture hall. Overall, the Faculty offers 2,500 workspaces and 170 computer stations. The work is part of the building interventions outlined in the Program Agreement with the Autonomous Province of Trento (Accordo di programma con la Provincia autonoma di Trento).
