Since 2011, the IDM Film Fund & Commission has positioned itself as a partner for production companies interested in shooting in the area, offering financing and services with particular attention on supporting co-productions between Italy and German speaking countries. In addition to pure financing, the Film Commission services include: production and location services for projects being produced in Alto Adige, promoting Alto Adige as a filming location in Italy and abroad, and developing professional roles in the area. BLS also promotes the relocation of service agencies to Alto Adige and provides various training initiatives and refresher courses for local professionals.
