Where it was filmed 'Only the Living Can Die'
Shot mostly in Bassa Reggiana, between Guastalla, Boretto and Gualtieri, the riverfront lungo Po is one of the main locations where this comedy plays out: this is where Orlando (Alessandro Roja) lives, hand to mouth, in a ramshackle lodging which is declared unsafe after the earthquake. Many scenes were shot on board the Stradivari boat in the Po Delta.

Forty-something Orlando has all the look of a loser: he spends his days on the banks of the River Po, lazy, isolated and resigned. However, the 2012 earthquake forces him to get back in the game, with nephews to look after, old loves that re-emerge from the past and a band to reunite.
