Val San Nicolò is a small valley in the Dolomites, located in Val di Fassa. The San Nicolò river which flows through the valley begins with the evocative waterfalls in Jonta, where the baita delle Cascate, which can be reached by walking through the valley, is located.
The valley landscape features open green and flowered meadows, dotted with large and small wooden mountain huts. The valley is framed by a series of peaks of the Marmolada Dolomite group such as Cima Uomo and Col Ombert; and Cima Undici and Cima Dodici in the Sesto Dolomites.
