The Selva di Paliano is a natural monument of strong tourist attraction, extending for 413 hectares, within the territory of the municipality of Paliano (FR). The area is heterogeneous and has a rich variety of environments: a 40-hectare oak forest included in the area of La Selva, species of rushes declared to be of Community interest, a mill with a fortified farmhouse, the medieval Mola di Piscoli and an area of archaeological interest.
