Piazza Abbamonte in Satriano di Lucania (PZ), known as the “village of murals”, is a wide public space on a slight slope, surrounded by residential buildings. Five steps divide the higher part of the square from the lower, almost cutting it in half. On the walls of the surrounding buildings, murals depict the cultural traditions of the small medieval borgo.
