The Terme del Corallo spa complex was built from 1903 onwards to a design by engineer Angiolo Badaloni and consists of three buildings connected by colonnades and arranged around an open garden. The pavilions are embellished with an elegant Art Nouveau decoration and many reinforced concrete elements. In the 1960s, a disastrous fire severely damaged the monumental part of the complex, which is now being restored.
