Located just downstream from the town of Tramonti (Pordenone), manmade lake Tramonti or Redona is an integral part of a territory made up of deep valleys, steep slopes with little traces of human habitation and a wide network of surface water that flows from the mountains towards the Adriatic sea.
Near the main Lake, two more basins built for hydroelectric purposes are nestled between the mountains: lake Cà Selva and lake Cà Zul. Lake Tramonti is the most accessible of the three, being very close to the Val Tramontina regional road which passes through it and thanks to the numerous flat areas near its banks.
The waters that feed the Redona basin descend from emerald pools recognized internationally as synonymous with purity and freshness.
