Where it was filmed 'Una vita spericolata'

Marco Ponti’s film is a road comedy inspired by the action and comedy of American movies. Roberto Rossi and his friend BB flee from the mountain village where they have no futures in a trip forced by a case of mistaken identity: a request for a loan at the bank is interpreted as an attempted robbery and hostage situation.

The first part of the film was shot in Piedmont, in Valsusa, in the areas of Moncenisio and Sestriere (province of Turin) setting for the friends’ village. Amidst winding mountain roads and small residential centres, Riccardo and BB begin their non-stop escape, with Soledad, constantly followed by the police and a group of criminals who want the money stolen from the bank.

Their aim is to reach the area of Salento. Passing by the province of Foggia, shooting lasted 27 days and involved the areas of Volturino, Troia and Bovino. The final part of the film, set in the province of Lecce, used locations such as the Piazza di San Giorgio in Melpignano, where they escape the police by mingling with the faithful outside the Chiesa Madre, Nardò and picturesque Santa Maria di Leuca with the Basilica Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae.
