In an apparently perfect family, siblings Davide (Alessandro Siani), Isabella (Cristiana Capotondi) and Renzo (Dino Abbrescia) find themselves trying to prevent their newly widowed mother from remarrying a childhood friend.

Events are set in a sun-drenched Sicily, in particular Milazzo and Cefalù. Villa Paradiso Bonaccorsi, in Capo Milazzo, was the location for the big family house, symbol of their previous united and compact past, and where they will gather again for the upcoming wedding.
