The Capanna Cervino refuge is located in the splendid setting of the Pale di San Martino Dolomite group facing the Cimon della Pala, about 1.5 km from the Rolle Pass.
The refuge was created by Alfredo Paluselli in 1931, when he decided to make the place his base and open the first ski school in the Dolomites. Building began in his workshop in Ziano di Fiemme, where he prepared the pieces that would make up the refuge, one of the earliest prefabricated buildings. Over the years the hut has been expanded.
