The beech forest of Mangalaviti is a wooded area in the Nebrodi mountain range at 1,518 m altitude extending mostly into the territory of Longi and Bronte. It is thick with vegetation, in particular majestic beech trees now centuries old, so closely grown that sunlight barely filters through. The wood also has maple, ash, wild apple, holly and yew trees. The area is crossed by numerous water courses. It can be reached from Longi, Galati Mamertino and Portella Gazzana.
