Fiumara d'Arte in Sicily is an open-air sculpture park set between sea and mountain, featuring 11 works by contemporary artists, located in the territory between the Nebrodi and the Madonie on the banks of the river Tusa which pours into the Tyrrhenian Sea near Castel di Tusa (ME).
The project was conceived of by Antonio Presti who commissioned a sculpture: La materia poteva non esserci in reinforced concrete from Pietro Consagra in 1982. It was developed in following years with the installation of other works of contemporary art in the area. These include Il labirinto di Arianna by Italo Lanfredini near Castel di Lucio, and La finestra sul mare by Tano Festa on the shore front of Villa Margi.
