The parish church of Saints Peter and Paul in Trento dates to the second half of the 15th century. Today it has a Venetian neo-Gothic style façade erected in 1850, surmounted by a statue of Saint Peter.
The bell tower, however, dates to 1487 and has a slender imbricated spire, dragon-headed gargoyles and a clockface in the tympanum.
Inside, the church has three cross vaulted naves and a wealth of depictions of the saints Peter and Paul. An octagonal chapel is dedicated to St. Simonino di Trento who died at the age of three and whose body was found during construction of the church: it has a finely decorated dome featuring gilded plasterwork and sculptures of angels and 8 paintings about Simonino.
