The Arboretum of Arco (Trento) is part of the ancient Archducal park, created by archduke Alberto d'Asburgo near the Archducal Villa in approximately 1872. It became part of the Tridentino Museum of Natural Science of Trento in 1993.
The park is filled with majestic, spectacular plants that are centuries old. The mild climate of Alto Garda makes it possible to cultivate over 150 species of trees and shrubs from all over the world, with a prevalence of Mediterranean and subtropical plants.
