An open-air art exhibition centre, Arte Sella is located about 7km outside Borgo Valsugana (Trento) in Val di Sella at about 800m above sea level, nestled between mount Armentera and the Cima Dodici mountain group.
It features works made with 100% natural materials such as stones, leaves, branches and trunks which, in many cases, have blended with the surrounding vegetation. Three different exhibition routes begin in the garden of Villa Strobele: the Villa has been open to the public since 2016 and houses works by internationally renowned architects. The Montura path is the perfect route for nature-lovers; only 4km long, it is suitable for families, and includes benches made by famous artists. This path connects the garden to the Malga Costa exhibition area which houses monumental works such as the plant cathedral and the Arte Sella theatre.
The area hosts conferences, concerts and shows throughout the year.
