The small Church of St. Anthony Abbot in Teglio Veneto (Venice) was built around 1477 by Martino da Fagagna on commission from the community. It has always been linked to the confraternity of St. Anthony Abbot.
The building has a small entrance porch that dates to the late 16th century / early 17th century and has significant historical and religious value: in addition to being the headquarters of the Confraternity of St. Anthony Abbot, this was a place where representatives of families in the area would gather to discuss issues relating to civic and religious life in Teglio.
The church houses several interesting frescoes dating to the 15th century (two of St. Sebastian, one of St. Anthony of Padua) and the 16th century (St. Agatha and the Baptism of Jesus, with other parts now practically illegible).
