Rocco Papaleo’s Scordato, produced by Indiana Production, Less Is More Produzioni, Vision Distribution, is about Orlando, a piano tuner and his backwards journey through the events of his life that have made him a solitary, “contracted” man.
Papaleo filmed in the Basilicata region of his birth, in Lauria and Maratea (city locations included: Istituto superiore Giovanni Paolo II, Church of the Immaculate Virgin, ancient houses, the station of Marina di Maratea), and in nearby Salerno, in the region of Campania. Trecchina, a small village inland, situated on the Lucan Appennines was also a location.
