Where it was filmed 'Point Break'

The remake of the film of the same name from 1991 starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves is a journey through extreme sports around the world which also stops off in Italy both in the film’s plot and in terms of filming locations chosen by the production team. The scenes shot in the Tyrolese village of Hall are indeed for a part of the film set in Italy in the fictional town of Tofana, the name of which is derived from the mountains surrounding Cortina d’Ampezzo, where an in-flight robbery takes place.
The sets used for the film are nonetheless situated in spectacular locations in the middle of the Alps, like Lagazuoli Mountain (in the Eastern Dolomites) and the Falzarego Pass, the panoramic road through the Dolomites that links High Agordino with Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the film, Bodhi and his accomplices aim to empty a gold mine, and the motorbike rides down the mountain take your breath away.
For other scenes, the production team moved to Valle d’Aosta, more specifically the area of Mont Blanc. Here, between Valgrisenche, in the area of Aiguille de la Grande Sassière, and Courmayeur, between the Petit Mont Blanc Massif, the Lex Blanches glacier, Punta Helbronner and the La Brenva glacier, the team filmed fast-paced snowboarding scenes.
