Located in the centre of Pisa, the Verdi Theatre is one of the most picturesque examples of theatre architecture from the 19th century, with its neoclassical façade and wide portico. It was built between 1865 and 1867 according to the design of architect Andrea Scala, and has one of the biggest stages in Italy, measuring 26m deep and 32m wide.
