The small village of Ca' Ferrari located in the municipality of Ventasso (Reggio Emilia), near the banks of the Secchia river, dates to the 17th century. Almost the entire village, in the style characteristic to the Reggio Emilia Apennines, has been renovated in local stone. Its architectural peculiarities include the flying buttresses supporting the buildings which are nestled together in lanes and paved streets. This evocative, ancient village offers an excellent panorama of the Apennines.
