A typical example of neo-classical Italian theatre architecture, Teatro Masini is one of the most important and characteristic cultural institutions in the town of Faenza (RE). Work began on it in 1780 and was completed in 1787. It can seat 500 people and has a stage that is 20m wide, 11m deep.
The so-called Galleria dei Cento Pacifici links the theatre to the adjacent Palazzo Manfredi. The gallery was designed by Giuseppe Pistocchi in 1785 and is painted on all sides, including the ceiling, by Felice Giani, Serafino Barassi with statues by Antonio Trentanove.
