The Bolzano Chamber of Commerce has been located in the city centre, between the station and the municipal theatre, since 2007.
The tripartite building, designed to ecological principles by the Bolzano architect Wolfgang Simmerle, is sober on the outside but has surprising multifaceted, bright interiors connected behind the glass and metal façade: winter gardens, conference rooms and a library have the shape of glass forms, constructions within the construction. The offices, englobed in transparent environments, are arranged around a large internal courtyard.
Free surfaces and bridges that connect the various parts of the building provide each floor with a distinct identity and offer multiple perspectives for film and photo shoots. It is no coincidence that BLS Filmlocation established its headquarters here in 2009.
