The Coriano Castle was built in the 13th century by the Malatesta family of Rimini. It has a polygonal shape with powerful scarp walls and curtains with corbels. On the access door there is a stone emblem. Internal access to the fortified enclosure consists of a tall and straight gate tower. Inside there are ruins with arched portals. A house within the castle, situated between the two gates, hosts the Antiquarium, a permanent exhibition of artefacts found in the area that also has a large “snow-house” in the courtyard.
