Saluzzo Station (CN) is located on the Savigliano-Saluzzo-Cuneo line, with passenger trains available only in the direction of Savigliano. It began functioning in 1857, but a constant drop in traffic and, consequently profits, in the aftermath of WWII, lead to the suspension of passenger transport on the Savigliano-Saluzzo-Cuneo in 2012. It remains active for cargo traffic. Passenger service has, however, recently been reactivated for trains heading in the direction of Savigliano.
