Castiglione della Pescaia is an ancient medieval village and is renowned for its beaches and large pine forests. The village is protected by boundary walls with towers, gateways and a 15th-century castle. Among the historical buildings of interest: Church of San Giovanni Battista and Palazzo Pretorio.
